Senior Manager (Enterprise Sales – 1 year Contract)

We are looking for a Business Development & Account Manager (1-year contract) based in Hyderabad to manage and grow our existing merchant relationships while also driving selective new merchant acquisition. This role focuses on ensuring smooth servicing of current merchants, identifying opportunities to upsell/cross-sell, and selectively acquiring new merchants in the region. If you have strong experience in payments / B2B sales, thrive in account management, and can balance farming with hunting, this role is for you.

What will you be working on
  • Merchant Relationship Management (Farming)
    • Act as the primary point of contact for existing merchants in the Hyderabad region.
    • Support merchants throughout their lifecycle by coordinating with Customer Support, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
    • Drive retention, resolve escalations, and ensure high merchant satisfaction.
    • Identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities for new PayGlocal offerings.
  • New Merchant Acquisition (Hunting)
    • Identify and onboard potential merchants who align with PayGlocal’s cross-border payments solutions.
    • Negotiate and close merchant partnerships to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Tech teams to provide merchant feedback.
    • Contribute to developing and positioning new PayGlocal offerings in the market.
  • Performance-Driven Execution
    • This is a target-driven role with a balanced focus on farming existing merchants and acquiring new ones.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development (preferably in payments, fintech, or enterprise/B2B sales).
  • Proven track record of managing merchant portfolios and meeting sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance farming (portfolio growth) and hunting (new business).
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
