Position Summary:As a Farming Intern at PayGlocal, you will play a key role in driving customer engagement, retention, and activation across our existing customer base. In a fast-growing cross-border payments environment, maintaining strong relationships with customers is critical to ensuring continued usage, satisfaction, and long-term value.In this role, you will interact directly with customers through calls, emails, and messaging channels to understand their needs, resolve concerns, and guide them in effectively using PayGlocal's products. You will also identify inactive accounts, support reactivation efforts, and contribute to improving the overall customer experience.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys conversations, relationship building, and working closely with customers to create meaningful impact in a dynamic fintech environment.

What will you be working on
  • Customer Engagement: Reach out to existing customers via calls, emails, and messaging platforms to maintain active engagement.
  • Customer Retention: Build strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Account Reactivation: Identify inactive or dormant accounts and drive reactivation through proactive follow-ups.
  • Customer Support Coordination: Understand customer pain points and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Product Education: Educate customers about product features, updates, and best practices to improve product adoption.
  • CRM Management: Track all customer interactions and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
  • Customer Insights: Share feedback and insights from customer interactions to improve product experience and service quality.
  • Upsell & Cross-Sell Support: Identify opportunities to support upselling and cross-selling of relevant products or features.
Qualifications
  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Prior internship or exposure in customer support, sales, or customer success is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for customer interactions over calls.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly, handle objections, and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with CRM tools is preferred.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
